A true undiscovered gem of Speyside, Linkwood is named after Linkwood House, the family home of the original owner Peter Brown. In the 1930’s the distillery manager, being uncertain of what exactly caused the unique and exquisite flavour of Linkwood, insisted that absolutely nothing be changed, down to the spider webs in the still room!
