Akkeshi ‘Kanro’ 2020 Peated Single Malt Japanese Whisky

The first in aseries of bottlings from Akkeshi that are dedicated to the 24 Solar Terms of Japan. Each release will explore the effects that the local climate, wildlife and farming have on the final product.

Kanro (cold drops of dew) has been distilled using peated barley and has been matured in a combination ofex-bourbon, wine, Mizunara and sherry wood before being married.
